Nolensville Medal of Honor winner

I am seeking information on English born American Civil War Medal of Honor winner Private JOHN VALE. Vale served in Company H, 2nd Minnesota Infantry and on February 15, 1863 at Nolensville, Tennessee he “Was one of a detachment of 16 men who heroically defended a wagon train against the attack of 125 cavalry, repulsed the attack and saved the train,” earning the distinguished award.
Mr. Vale died on February 2, 1909 in Davenport, Iowa and is buried at Oakdale Cemetery.

Any information regarding Mr. Vale - family, occupation, obituary, etc., would be greatly appreciated and fully acknowledged.
