Hello,

The 5th Confederate Infantry and the 5th Tennessee Infantry are two different units.

The 5th Confederate was formerly two other TN regiments: 21st Tennessee Infantry and the 2nd TN Infantry (Walker's).

I don't think there are unit histories of these two TN regiments that became the 5th Confederate.
