Re: Camps used in the middle TN area

Major Hodge,

I too am interested in the camps along the route from Nashville to the plains of Northern AL and MS. My regiment the 7th Miss., I believe, was commanded by Stevenson in S.D. Lee's absence and most certainly was with the men of the 39th GA during the several rear guard actions along the route.

I have no specific mentions of the 39th GA in my primary sources, but would be interested in any you have of men in Sharp's Brigade, the Mississippi "High Pressure Brigade". [7th, 9th, 10th, 41st, 44th Miss. and 9th Battn Miss. SS] They were part of Ed Johnson's Division and took part in the night time fight at Franklin. My history is almost complete, but any information from Septemebr 1864 until the surrender in NC would be helpful and appreciated.
