Visited your website on the 13th. My great grandfather, Joseph Lemule Mewborn and his two brothers, Joshua Wilson and James Charlton all joined up in Company B from Macon, Fayette County. They survived the war and lived to be old men.

Joseph was captured after Chickamauga and spent the rest of the war at Johnson's Island officer's prison camp near Sandusky Ohio. I have copies of letters he sent home during his sojourn there.

I would like to know if you have any photographs of Co. B or the regiment. Also, a photo of the regimental flag. My family does not have any photos of any of these three men in uniform. They were fairly well-to-do, so I would have expected to have some. Perhaps there are some in an archive somewhere.
