my gggfather was in the civil war his name is william hardin he was in co-c 3 (forrests) tennessee calvary (confederate) i have his military record it has two cards on him listed in balch's cav on the roll of prisoners captured near humbolt i take it to be tennessee, 2nd card list him as being paroled sept 17 1862 by provost marshal of the post of jackson , tennessee sept 17, 1862. i cannot find any thing on him does anyone have any idea's. any info will be appreciated yours olh ky.
