The Friends of Fort Defiance will be hosting their 3rd Annual Civil War Picnic on the grounds of Fort Defiance/Fort Bruce on September 22 from 1-5 PM. Barbecue lunch will be provided for the price of $5. Living history will include period civilian demonstrations of bonnet making, soap making and laundry, and a country doctor/herbalist.
