My GG Grandfather James M. Kemp of Company
A 6 Regiment SC was captured at Lynch's Creek, SC March 25, 1865; received from New Bern, NC Apr 10, 1865; became a Prisoner of War at Hart's Island, NY where he died May 4, 1865 and was buried at Cypress Hills Cemetery 8 am May 6, 186. His hospital number was 10725. Is there any way for me to receive information beyond what I have given you? I would like to visit his grave and get pictures if you can help me locate it. If you can tell me who can provide me with a picture, I will just purchase one.Thank you.
