Ray, the head stones are for Unknown Confederates. There are other grave sites at that location as well. The piles of rock just past the shelters were there during the battle and were used as shelter from the battle. The road that leads to the north, south road that is at the entrance to the cemetery is the old Manchester Pike that was used by Wilder's men. If you look in the direction that the cannon is pointing, behind the trees and over a slight rise, was the camp that the Federals removed the supply wagons from. The little store located to the east of the cemetery is said to have been the location of the store that was there at the time of the battle.
