I am related to George W. Barrow's wife through the Futrells. Do you know Norris Barrow of Dover? He is a descendant. How about Flenoy Barrow of Calloway County, KY? He is also a descendant? If you need copies of any of his records just let me know.

Done near Vicksburg, MS 9/20/62; on March/April 1864 Muster Roll as present; captured POW at battle of Nashville, near Nashville, TN 12/16/64; POW at Nashville, TN forwarded to Louisville, KY 12/31/64; POW received at Louisville, KY 1/2/65; POW forwarded to prison at Camp Chase, OH 1/2/65; POW received at Camp Chase, OH 1/4/65; subscribed to Oath of Allegiance at Camp Chase, OH 5/15/65 giving residence as Trigg County, KY, complexion dark, hair dark, eyes hazel, height 5’5’’, and age 21.
TN Pension # 14828, Stewart County: Accepted. Shell bursted and part of shell a rock thrown out by it struck on the hip.
TN Civil War Questionnaire: Resident of Model, Stewart County, TN; born in Trigg County, KY; parents had a 2 room log house; enlisted Sept. 20, 1861 at Fort Donalson, Stewart Co., Tenn.; stayed at Fort Donalson about 4 months until it fell; from Fort Donalson to prison at Camp Douglas, Ill., and stayed 7 months; next battles was Raymon, Miss., Jackson, Miss., Chickamauga, Tunnel Hill, and many others at least 16 battles; was scantily clothed and fed; slept any way I could and exposed to the cold every way; spent 6 weeks in hospital; discharged at Camp Chase, OH and came home by way of train of Cincinnati, OH and then by boat to Kentucky; members of my Company: John Askew, Ben Allen, Sam Crain, Will Brabston, Bill Ball, Jim Bennett, Lou Beasley, Wash Burges, Joe Burges, Bill Wallace, Geo.
