You can ask this question on the Mississippi board to see if someone familiar with the Jackson area knows more. Federal soldiers burned the town of Jackson so it would seem unlikely that any wooden markers for temporary burials would have survived. I will be surprised if anyone knows exactly where Confederates were buried in or around the town.
