Searching for military record of Robert Lawson Bell.

His son, Andrew, submitted an application to the Col. D. H. Lee Martz Camp, # 10, SCV, Harrisonburg VA, on 20 February 1923. He stated in this application his father was born in Smyrna, TN and died in Nashville 20 April 1921. Andrew furhter stated he only knew his father was a member of Co. B, Cheatham Bivouac of Nashville and these men buried Robert on 23 April 1921.

Any information concerning Robert Lawson Bell's military record whould be most appreciated.
