Some ten years ago, you found in the Vicksburg Old Court House Museum a list of some 77 Confederate soldiers, mostly from East Tennessee, who were buried in the Vicksburg City Cemetery, Cedar Hill, Confederate Rest.
We obtained tombstones for them and you and Gordon Cotton assisted in dedicating the setting of them.
Forty-one of these men were from the 43rd Tennessee. We will be holding a descendants reunion this coming June and would be pleased if you could attend our Memorial Ceremony on Saturday, June 14. See our website at:
