This is short notice for any that might be interested, but there will a living history demonstration tomorrow (Saturday, Sept 27th) at Fort Defiance in Clarksville from 1 to 5 PM. We will be having an 1860's style picnic, along with some of our usual demonstrations such as Civil War era medicine, period housekeeping chores (churning of butter, etc). Military demonstrations will include periodic firing of civil war era artillery. Admission is free. Donations are accepted.
