This is the info for my William (Bill).
Father: John Sawyers b. 1842
Mother: Rebecca Catherine Newman b. 1849
children: I believe all the children were born at Talbert's Station, Tenn.
George M. Sawyers b.1867
William A. Sawyers b. 1868
Blanche V. Sawyers b. 1870
Frank L. Sawyers b. 1872-my ggrandfather
Nora C. Sawyers b. 1875
Rufus L. Sawyers b. 1878
Grover C. Sawyers b. 1887

I have a Texas military pension application for John Sawyers, so I assumed he was a Civil War vet, as I know he was in Tennessee at the time of the war.

Regards,
Steve Young
