I am interested in learning more about the 13th Tenn. Vol. Cav. Regt. (US) aside from what is in the regimental history and "Thrilling Adventures...." by Daniel Ellis. This unit was composed chiefly of men from Carter and Johnson Counties. The unit fought as a part of the Third Brigade "Governor's Guards."
