Seeking info on cemeteries in the Mt. Pleasant, Maury Co., Tn. area. My g.g.grandfather, William Tune, served in the 3rd Tennessee Infantry, Company B, under Captain Daniel F. Wade. It was later reorganized and became Company C when Tennessee seceded. My g.g.grandfather survived the Civil war only to die in a fight. He was wounded in the arm & after the amputation apparently died from infection. The fight included a Captain Fletcher Barnes. I have a copy of the newspaper article from the Columbia Herald, but have been unable to locate the burial site. He lived from about 1835 to 1869 in that same area. His parents were Joshua Tune and Rhoda Pickard Tune. Any help appreciated. Gloria
