Am searching for information about McDonald's Dragoons, organized in January, 1862 by Captain, alter, Major, Charles A. McDonald in Memphis. He later commanded Company "A" of the 11th (Holman's) TN Cavalry. Originally Company "A" was originally Company "K" of Forrest's Old Regiment .

Specifically, I am interested in learning about Henry C. West's Service with these units, He was paroled in May, 1965 in Gainesville, AL.
