I am looking for information on two brothers who were in the 9th Batt. (Gantt's), TN Cavalry. Their names were David Mayberry, born 1838 in Wayne County, TN and Demarcus Mayberry, born 1841 in Wayne County, TN. They were in "F" Company of Gantt's Battalion.
They had a brother and a brother-in-law in the 19th (Biffle's) TN Cavalry. Their names were Thomas T. Mayberry who died in captivity at Camp Douglas, IL and William Murphy Crossno. Both were in "I" Company as was a third man, (Henry Crossno), who was probably related.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
