Hello, I have some information on a Jeremiah Greene from Hancock County who was born in Rowan County, NC about 1774 and died in Hawkins, County, TN about 1820. Hancock County did not exist until 1844 and was form from Hawkins County. He is the gggg grandfather of my husband. I have been to the cemetery where he was buried. However, this was before the Civil War. If I can help you further, please let me know.
