.....I have a list of names that has been handed down through my family. The list has 8 or 10 names, no states or Regiments. Someone has made a note on the list that says, "served in the Confederate Army". The only thing the names might have in common is their mother's maiden name was probably Cobb. Any ideas on how to find these men? I don't have enough information to do a records check. Thanks for any help. Bob
