Outstanding George....John Hurst is in an old cemetery up in rural Collin County,Tx. im a board member on. Need to get him a CSA marker. His GGgrandaughter will be very interested in this information. She had no idea if he had been a soldier.

These Hurst's were up in Haralan Co.,Ky. in 1860 just north of the Cumberland Gap. Obviously they came south and joined the CS Army...I had hoped they did not go federal..
