Thanks on both scores. I've got the bio of Karge already because of the Brice's Crossroads connection and also access to the CMSRs through Footnote.com. Very useful source. I still find it interesting no one can turn up any more information on Lt. Col. "Burke" who commanded the ex-Union POWs at Egypt Station.
