Richard P Jackson, 5th MS Inf., Bogue Chitto Rangers Fought in the battle at Chattonoga in 1863 and we think he was a POW and deserted, was possibly in the hospital after the battle does anyone have any information about Richard P. Jackson as he never returned home to his family ?
