My great grandfather, David Crockett Patton is listed in being in the 5th TN Cavalry, Co A. I am trying to find out the dates he was in service. I have located the date he mustered in, but have not been able to find out anything more. I know he went in as a Private, and exited as a Private. If you could help me, I would be so grateful.
