Elisha Bowman was the son of William E. Bowman, Jr., and Mary Beeler. Elisha married on December 26, 1850, in Claiborne County, Tennessee, to Lucinda Lynch, daughter of Alfred Lynch, and Nancy Burgess (Bradley). Elisha and Nancy had 7 children; James M., Sarah E., William M., Maruy Ann, Nancy Jane, John Wesley, and Alfred Joshua.

I put in Bowman and saw William E
Elisha with all the right names i have for wifes and
are in search of Military proofs/records of Elisha Z Bowman
for a Mr Ed Rogers who came to us in Texas.
He had a relic from his ggg grandfather who served in the
Tenn 3rd inf sgt.
Ed Rogers is blind and has told us as best he can all from Memory as a younger man.
