I am looking for any info on :
George Hightower Barker - CSA - Born 7/7/1838 in Williamson Co., Tn - Died 2/22/1908 in Williamson Co., Tn - lived his whole life in this county - I believe he joined Holman's Partisan Rangers, Co. B , Aug 16,1862 at Thompson Station, Tn since this was near his home - Co.B later became Co. G - 11th (Holman's) Tenn Cavary Regiment - Rank in - pvt - Rank out -Sgt - evidently he was captured at some point because records show he was released as a prisoner of war 2/22/1865 at Nashville - would really appreciate any info you might have on his service - capture, battles paricipated in, ect - Thanks, Jerry Barker - 615-948-6338 - 817 Chrisman Dr. Franklin, Tn 37064 - jbhalfway@yahoo.com
