7th Tennessee Reg't Infantry

I have been trying to research the 7th Tennessee Reg't Infantry during their assignment in Virginia in the early part of the war. My resources are vague in detail. Can anyone verify the regiment's movements from late 1861 through January of 1862? I believe, after General Floyd's campaign in the Kanawha Valley they were assigned to General Loring around September of 1861. On January 4, 1862 I have them on expedition to Bath, Va. to destroy the railroad bridge. Were they left at Romney with Loring? I did not see any mention of them in Loring's petition against General Jackson. Were they with Jackson when he moved to Winchester, Va.? Thank you for any details. Ron
