Thanks for information George. That seems to make it pretty clear, I would like to find, if possible more about where and how he died and where he is buried. Again thank you for your help, kind of sad to find out things like this and maybe its ironic that I now have a son working on his PhD at Vanderbilt who's name is also Joseph R Cates
