I am searching for any and all info on my GGGFather, General Jackson Rogers. He came from the Sand Mountain area of Alabama. I am posting in Tennessee because he lived in Tennessee but eventually went back to AL. I have a copy of a land grant from President Harrison to my GGGMother, the widower of General Jackson Rogers for the Treaty dated 05/20/1862. I have been told that this was for his service in the war. I am new at this, so I need all the help I can get. I assure you ALL help is appreciated. Thank you...Smiley!
