Both of my ggrandfathers served in the Civil War. William Valentine Mullins served with the 41st Regiment, TN Inf. Co E. He was wounded at Chickamauga.
John D. Womble served with the 5th Regiment, Tennessee Cavalry, Co C/E. He was discharged in Pulaski, but he was a native of Bedford Co., as was William.
I am searching for any photos of these units if there are any to be found. I would appreciate any information available on these units..
