this unit did service in vicksburg campaign and i noticed their graves at a confederate cemetery there and at yazoo city,ms.. i would love to read some diaries of these troopers and books on tx. regiments in vicksburg campaigns such as chickasaw bayou,arkansas post, yazoo city.
