Hi,To anyone that may be interested, I attended a Confederate Monument Dedication Last Sunday , honoring the more than three hundred ninty Confederate veterans buried in Brown County, Texas. The dedication was held in the Greenleaf Cemetery in Brownwood . There is 175 veterans buried in the Greenleaf Cemetery , the rest are buried in cemeterys around the county. It seems that a large number of veterans , on finding there was nothing left at home after the war moved to Brown county and started new lives.
