I am searching for my Ancestor, William Leftwich and only have the following information.
William Leftwich served as a Confederate soldier enlisting in Cass County, Tx in 1863 serving in company H, Res Corp, Reg. unknown {this is from his widows pension application}
He did serve under Capt. James Nelson in Clarksville, TX.
He was killed by a deserter at Red River, Tx on Jan. 25, 1864.

Any help or direction would be greatly appreciated.

Am also looking for info on a GA Soldier, any suggestions on who to contact in that regard.
