Is there a listing for the 30th texas calvary (1st texas partisans)? It was also known as Gurley's regiment. I am interested in Co. I. I think my gggreat-grandfather (John L. Smith) was a captian. Also, how do I find out where a company was out of? I think Co. I was from Angelina Co., TX, but I don't know how to check.

Any help would be appreciated!
