Denise Brogdon,
I'm sure you have heard about Camp Brogden Springs in Grayson County, Texas. If you do not have, but want, the skinny on Brogden Springs, please let me know. Also, I have four entries for four different soldiers named Brogden.
Neff brothers. I have three Neffs mentioned in the same July 1861 Fannin Co TX militia: John Neff, age 23; Isaac Neff, age 21; and Joseph Neff, age 24. The question is: Is this John Neff, age 24 the same person as Christian Neff?
Since I have a 120-page Name Index, chances are good that I have at least one member of a North Texas family of the 1861-1865 era. I also have a 16-page Gazetteer that targets Indian Territory, but places in other states are included.
My website, www.bourlandcivilwar.com, describes my 994-page: BOURLAND IN NORTH TEXAS AND INDIAN TERRITORY DURING THE CIVIL WAR: FORT COBB, FORT ARBUCKLE, & THE WICHITA MOUNTAINS.
