To all Civil War Buffs, and Reenactors,

I am respectfully asking for your help. Last Friday our home and car was destroyed by fire. We lost everything with the exception of some pictures and some little odds and ends. Both of my teenage sons lost most of what they owned of their Civil War uniforms and geer. One thing that made it was a kepi, and any advice on how to get the black off without destroying it completely would be greatly appreciated. Also destroyed was a 3 tier book shelf of Civil War books, their Civil War magazines, and tapes. My children have been such a blessing to me in keeping their positive attitudes, and priorities in order, and giving me encouragement that I would like to see them blessed as well. Right now my main concern is the basics, and I know that all I can do is ask, and so I respectfully do ask for your help if it is possible.
