Confederate Veteran Home in Austin

I am doing some research on the Fourth Louisiana Infantry Battalion, which was raised in Northeast Louisiana. I have came across two soliders thus far that are burried in the State Cemetery located at 909 Navasota St. in Austin. I do recall reading a few years back about a Confederate Veterans home located in Austin. Two questions:

1. Is the State Cem. on Navasota the one used by the home for burial of these Veterans? and

2. Does anyone have any detailed information on this home?

The men I have found thus far:

John E. Matthews born 1830 - died 2/21/1892
Perkins Poole Miller born 1835 - died 10/2/1911

Thank you for any help.
