Have you read the Reports in the "Offical Records' that contain many references to Lieut. Redmond Burke later
promoted to Captain ? Brig. Gen. J.E.B. Stuart spoke of
him in several reports; such as " Captain Redmond Burke
was wounded in the leg while charging with Twelfth,(12th) Virginia Regiment at Lewis' Ford.(Series 1 Volume 12 Part II on page 746...there are several others in different
volumes.Hope you have a chance to read these reports.
