Re: Collin and Cooke Counties
In Response To: Collin and Cooke Counties ()

Patrica,

I also found W. T. Fourshee/Foushee in company B, 11th Texas Cavalry....he must have moved from TST to Confederate Cavalry service.

The family spells the name Forisha today.

I am tracking the father of James F. Forisha born 1850 in TN. then moved to Texas. I think W. T. is his father but I have hit a stone wall. No one seems to know anything about the father of James Forisha. His father may have died in the war.

Thanks,
Gary D. Bray
