Number of miles to rendezvous 80, valuation of horse $130.00, equipment $20.00."
William Garner Caraway married Ann Elizabeth Guinn. After her death he married Mollie P. Morris. He and Ann were the parents of 12 children, with one additional child from his second marriage. William Garner Caraway was born May 31, 1840 in Alabama. Parents are believed to be John W. Caraway and Arabella Willingham. William was a farmer his entire life. At this writing,(Oct 14, 2005, William has one living granddaughter, she is 93 year of age.) She states that William was wounded in the Civil War and walked with a cane the rest of his life.
