Re: Bufford's or Burford's 19 TX Cav?

I am also looking for information on the 19th Texas Cavalry, I have two brothers David F and Christopher C Camron, serving in Unit K together. They lived on their fathers farm in Dallas County, part of the Peters Colony.

I also have an old Confederate note found in some old papers of my Great Aunt, the note is made out to D R Camron, the father of the above mentioned. It is for $69.80 worth of Hay and Oats and has written across the face of the note, approved Nat M Burford, Colonel Confederacy. At the bottom it is signed by A Harwood Quartermaster. The note is very old and virtually falling apart. I have it in a sealed frame.

I would greatly appreciate any information anyone has on the Cavalry Division and in particular Unit K.
