This is response to email sent to me earlier. I lost the sender's address. He was looking for a H. Horton in Company C, 32nd Tex Cavalry. I found in Carl Duaine's book "The Dead Men Wore Boots" the following:

Hamilton Horton, age 38, elisted Feb 1862 from Caldwell County. He was a Pvt. Last report Feb 1864 he was present but listed as sick.
