Thanks for the excellent report. It sounds like the Confederate statues in Southeast Texas and Southwest Louisiana did okay. Now that they've reopened Cameron Parish, I hope to get down there and try to get some pictures of the Robert E. Lee statue at Johnson Bayou. The Pvt. William Guehrs Confederate Medal of Honor marker at the Cameron Parish Courthouse is no longer there. Hopefully it will be replaced if they still have it.
