My Joseph McElroy Griffith (1822 Hopkins Co KY-1882 Delta Co TX) lived in Humansville, Greene twp, Polk County MO near his wife's relatives: Christopher Wainscott and Thornton Wainscott. J.M. Griffith came to Texas to join the Bourland Regt. Col. James Bourland happened to be his uncle.
