Re: Lacklins Regiment of Texas
In Response To: Re: Lacklins Regiment of Texas ()

My great-great was grandfathter was Thomas Jefferson Roach from Cherokee County. I am trying to confirm if he was in the 35th Texas Calvary. My information is not complete!

We think he served under Captian John T. Wiggins

T J Roach allegedly mustered in sometime in 1863 as a sargeant, he would have been 38 years of age.

Can you please confirm if he is on your roll of confederate soldiers from Texas?

Thanks for your help, it is greatly appreciated.
