Civil War Reunion Photo--18th Calalry Regiment?

I found a large photo in my husband's grandfather's photo chest that seems to be a Civil War reunion photo, but we are not sure. Richard Meredith Hart's son Iredell would be my husband's g-g-g-grandfather, and we know he was in the war. We also know a family member by the name of Clements was in the same company, TX 18th Cavalry Regiment. The photo we have has two pen markings on it, pointing out two of the men. The man in the middle with a white beard has a star marked under him, and the man third from his right holding a light colored hat also has a pen mark pointing to him. I have tried hard to match the photo with photos of courthouses I have seen to find out where the photo was taken, but I have had no luck. The photo is actually larger than what is shown, my scanner was only large enough to get this much. Who might be able to identify this photo?
