Our ancestor served in the 17th Texas inf. Co I (Allen's regiment)and was admitted to CSA General Hospital in Shreveport, La 8-19-1864 and transfered on 8-31-1864 to Keachi or Keecht and that is the end of the records we were able to find.
Does anyone know if this was another unit, hospital or prison camp?
