I am having the same problem that Jerry Coffee has described. .. I have always turned my computer off every night. And yes, in the beginning I completed every box including a password, but starting several months ago, I have to re-enter my password, etc. every time I post a message. ... By the way, I understand that if you leave your computer on at night, computer miners store data in your computer while it is "asleep."

I purchased my "NT Windows" computer on Jan 1, 2000. .. I attributed my problems to my ignornance of the dark world of computers and software. .. I must quickly say that for many months I had no problems then all of a sudden I experienced these problems.

Maybe it is the "NT Windows" version that is causing our problem. I know that I had to purchase several pieces of hardware to "run" some of my older software programs and my older hardware (I prefer my old 1994 Hewlett-Packard scanner to the newer versions). Then when we learned that I had an older version of "NT Windows," different hardware had to be ordered.

Maybe it is because I have gray hair, but some of us concentrate on research in lieu of the latest and greatest of computers and softwares. Yes, my whole book and most of my research is in Microsoft Publisher 1997 format --some is still on WordPerfect 6.0.
