I am searching for information on Alexander Coleman and his service in the CSA

A family history book tells me that he was a member of

Capt. Hyman's Co. G. 5th Regt. Peyton's LA. Mil. Inf.

in the Mexican War

His wife Mary Ann died May 16th 1863 and is buried in Grimes Co.
He married Sally Jean Foster at Anderson on Dec23, 1866

Fam. books says between the marriages he served in the War Between the States.
