I believe the man listed below may be my wife's 5th great-grandfather but before ordering his pension applications I was hoping somebody may be able to tell me something of him. I believe he was born in Georgia ABT 1845 but I have no idea what unit he served with. The only James Satterwhite I found at CWS&SS from either Texas or Georgia had a different middle initial. Thanks in advance for any help.
